Middle Schooler’s Jolly Cool Video Game a Winner at National Competition

In Nintendo’s most popular videogame series, Mario Bros,. plumber-hero Mario and his brother Luigi rescue princesses throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. In the Half-Life video games, physicist Gordon Freeman mows down droves of alien armies to save the Earth.

In Etiquette Anarchy, all social climber Jacob McQuillan has to do is get to a party in clean clothes. But that’s no small feat in the filthy streets of Victorian London, the setting of this new game created by Henry Edwards and Kevin Kopczynski, two North Carolina middle schoolers who are winners in the 2013 National STEM Video Game Challenge.
